Troubleshooting & FAQs

1. Detection

Wireless product not working properly when also using a USB 3.0 device

If your camera isn't detected by your computer, please try the following:

  • Try a different USB port on your computer.

  • Make sure the camera isn't connected to a USB hub or docking station.

  • If your camera is connected to a USB 3.0 port (usually has a blue plastic insert), try using a USB 2.0 port instead.

  • Try connecting the camera to a different computer.

NOTE: If your camera isn't detected by a second computer, it may be defective.

2. Compatibility

Logitech webcam compatibility with hubs and KVM switches

Manufacturers implement webcam support in various and non-standard ways. KVM switches, in particular, may affect the functionality of your Logitech webcam.

Other third-party devices that may interfere with the communication between your Logitech webcam and your computer are:

  • KVM switch boxes

  • Port Replicators

  • Docking Stations

  • USB Hubs

3. Smart TV
