Podia Launches New DSE Assessment Service
15th March 2022

Newbury, UK: 15/03/2022, 10:00am BST: Podia, the service provider of high-performance workspaces, has this month added Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments to its B2B service capabilities, in a bid to further support mid to enterprise customers in effectively managing their hybrid workforce.

The new service from Podia will allow companies to outsource their DSE risk assessments to Podia’s assessment team, who will ensure that each individual employee has a thorough remote assessment to analyse their workspace setup.  As well as supporting an employee’s wellbeing, DSE assessment helps organisations reduce potential risks and maintain their duty of care as part of their health and safety responsibilities.

Covered within the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, DSE assessments are a legal requirement for any employees that use devices such as laptops, PCs, smartphones, or tablets, daily for 1 consecutive hour or more.

Andy Pearce, CEO of Podia, said: The new Hybrid world has come with many challenges for employers, and at Podia we’re trying to make it simple. Not only can we help businesses equip their teams with professional remote and hybrid workspaces, but we can also help them effectively oversee their asset management as well as get peace of mind that they’re fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities.

Many organisations aren’t even aware of the legal responsibilities which surround DSE for remote employees. For a minimal cost, we can help them reduce the risk and the time spent on administration

The Podia remote assessment takes approximately 30minutes and is documented in the form of a report with suggested improvements and Zoom video recording.
